THE CSL NETWORK

Players should not be registering teams. So, don't click the "Team Registration" button on the top right to join your CSL team. Directions repeated below. If you're familiar with joining teams on the ICCup site, the process is quite similar.

For players interested in representing their school:

  • Once your School's team is visible in the list of registered teams, proceed to create an account on the CSL site (if you do not already have one).
  • Proceed to your school's Team Profile, where you will have the option to Join the team. You will receive a message if you have not filled in your Player Profile - please follow the link provided and make sure to fill in the required information.
  • Sit tight - Your coordinator will now accept or deny your request to join. If accepted, you will be visible on your team's list of players.

Step-by-step instructions:
1) Register an account if you haven't already. Fill out as much information as you can, of course.
2) Do NOT click the link at the very top right. Instead, go to the League section.
3) Find the link to your team, for instance, Princeton University. Click on it to access your team's page, which should have your team's current roster, including the coordinator for your team.
4) There are two options for that page - "View" (default) and "Join." Click the "Join" button to request to join the team. Now, you wait for your coordinator to approve you.

For those of you who have already messed up =D:
Wait a day or so, and we'll disband your team - we'll email you/your coordinator when your account has been fixed.

I registered "University of Wisconsin - Madison" with the abbreviation "UW", but it looks like "University of Washington" also is using that abbreviation. Is this behavior intended? Thanks!

We get stats from www.sc2ranks.com - in their own words: "Blizzard does not provide any easy to use list of players, we rely on cascade spidering through saved players, manually entered players and spidering through Blizzard forums to find players."

If your stats do not show up, head over to www.sc2ranks.com, click on "Add Battle.net URL" at the top, enter your Battle.net profile URL, and the site will queue you and your division to be added within around 24 hours.
