If you're wondering how we came up with divisions, we gave considerations to geography first, so that teams that were physically close to each other were put in the same division. Then we grouped teams to try to make sure that all the good teams were not put into the same division, making it so that deserving teams wouldn't be left out of the playoffs. Finally special considerations were made to keep the Big 10 schools together, for example.
