Tuesday @ noon, so who is the victor and which set do we get our W.O? ^^ (Since that seems to be a recurring theme)
This is me being curious, but does anyone know if CSL is going to transition into Starcraft 2 soon or will it stick with SC1? Sorry if my comment is out of place.
Not out of place at all, it's a very valid question. We haven't discussed it thoroughly among the staff, but we're probably moving to SC2 (especially since the release date will allow students some time to get re-accustomed to the new game). We were thinking of starting the SC2 season one month or two after the release, so it looks like next season is it.
Not sure what we're doing with SC1. We can still run a league with SC1, but the interest in SC1 will probably transfer to SC2--it has already, and there have been some teams withdrawing because of the beta. We'll run a few polls in any case.
WE SHALL SEE!
Thanks for the info. I am really interested in trying to get an ECU team for SC2, my friends and I will be practicing over the summer.
After Ottawa crushes UCSD/Mich, the UOttawa dynasty will go down in the history books as the last great SC:BW team outside of Korea.
I'm sure it would be much easier for people to find SC2 players at school than SC:BW when the game comes out. I know a lot of schools had a tough time just finding 4 random players that kinda play SC:BW but kinda don't. We could see a CSL explosion when SC2 comes out. Exciting adventures await
You guys still have to get through duke first =P
Are these going to be streamed as well? If so someone please post link so I can observe my team in Ro4 ^^
I'll be casting UCSD vs UM tonight, http://www.livestream.com/funnytoss
