Hello all and welcome to week 2 of the CSL! This week, we've got two quick interviews with schools who are new to the CSL, but not necessarily new to Starcraft! In one corner, we've got Rob 'LuckyFool' Griesemer, DC-area LAN organizer, B- Terran and coordinator for George Mason University. In the other corner, we've got Oregon State University, home to Starcraft community names like K-Pop aficionado Solinren and {88}iNcontroL of WCG fame. First of all, introduce yourselves - players, relative skill levels, etc.

LF: We have 5 players. Myself, a Terran player aka "GMU)LF"; Jonathan Choi, also a Terran player aka "GMU)Flush"; Jamie Miller, a race picker aka "GMU).midi"; Bob Toner a Zerg player aka "GMU)Storr"; and Peter Tran aka "GMU)IronBrah". As far as skill levels go, I think we'll just let our play in the CSL speak for itself. ;)

You went 3:1 in your last match against Stony Brook University. How far do you think you'll make it in the tournament? Any challenges you anticipate in your division?

Well unfortunately only one of their players was able to make the match last Saturday. The Saturday night time didn't work out too well for them last week and they were too late contacting us. So sadly we took 3 w.o's. We weren't really able to test the waters very well last week but we'll have a better test against UMD this week. Obviously the two favorite teams in the division will once again be Princeton and Rutgers. I'd say they have to be favored to take spots 1 and 2. Personally I would be happy to make the playoff stage which I think we are fully capable of. If our team plays well I honestly feel we will compete near the top of the division all season.

Your match this weekend coincides with the DC LAN. Are all of you going to show up as a team?

Haha, funny how it worked out this way. I planned this DC LAN long ago but it turns out now we will have a match right during it. In fact all 5 of us should be able to make the LAN which will be very fun. UMD isn't too far away from the DC area either it would have been very crazy awesome to play all the sets live in person but sadly the timing isn't going to work out for that. But regardless our team should all be at the LAN which will be exciting. I fully intend for us to win this week.

Any final words?

Introduce yourselves - players/races/skill levels, how the team got started, etc.
Solinren: Annyeong, never thought I would get the chance to participate in the CSL after two seasons have gone by. But thanks to Eiii's blog we're finally here. I go by Solin on the TeamLiquid forums and currently a D Terran. For this season's CSL I went with the game tag BoPeepAh. Most of you who watch Livestream of progaming matches should know where this comes from.
iNcontroL: My name is Geoff Robinson aka iNcontroL. I am a zerg player and my level varies based on who you ask lol. The team got started when Mother Oregon met Father State University, they had a lil birds n bees and now we are here.
Eiii: I'm Eiii (aka E3 for those of you having trouble saying my name!), a zerg pushing his way through the D ranks, slowly but surely. I saw other school's CSL recruitment blogs going up and I figured that the university lucky enough to have incontrol should have a CSL team, so I started a recruitment blog of my own. Turnout was low, but not too low. :) ...Low enough, though, that our fourth player is currently just a friend of mine with tiny amounts of starcraft experience who I picked up just so we could have enough players.

You went 3:2 in this past week's match against Carleton College. Comments?
Eiii: It was a close series! The Carleton players are really good-- luckily Solinren was able to take a game on Match Point with some really smart play, and incontrol powered through his game and aced the match for us. Big props to them!
Inc: Never heard of carleton college. They were nice though!

How much of a presence has iNcontroL been on the team so far? Any free lessons for the team?

Inc:He has been an amazing presence. I have spent tons of time with him and so far no! No free lessons, that cheap skate..
Eiii:We haven't really gotten into the groove of practicing as a team yet-- after all, only two of the three of us really need to practice. I'm sure when the time comes incontrol will be happy to give us a little help here and there. He seems like a nice enough guy :)

How far do you think you'll make it in the tournament? Any challenges you anticipate in your division?
Eiii: It all depends on how well we can flesh out our team in the coming weeks-- if we can get a few more decent players (and get better ourselves :) ), then we'll be a pretty solid team with the absolute powerhouse that is incontrol to back us up and take our ace games. If that happens, we're sure to get into the playoffs-- but starcraft players are hard to come by! Either way, Solinren and I are practicing more than we ever have before, so I think we'll improve over the coming months, but the fate of the team is still a bit up in the air.

Any final words?
Solinren: Drop by the Kpop discussion thread on TeamLiquid started by none other than inControl and say hi. We are friendly people. Well Most of us are.
Eiii: We need more players! If you're an OSU student who missed my first recruitment blog, PLEASE PM me or something! Our lineups are dire need :(
