Unfortunately, Arizona State University has decided to withdraw from this season of the CSL.
This would have meant that West Division 3 would be left with only 7 schools (Stanford had withdrawn from that division as well), and so we have decided to switch in Augustana College from West Division 2. For those of you who were looking forward to play them - Sorry, it couldn't be helped ^^. Augustana's matches in West Division 2 will be replaced with BYE weeks. So West Division 2 will join those who have 2 BYE weeks throughout the season.
To make up for week 1, Augustana and UC Riverside will have to play at some point during the season. Augustana/UCR coordinators, please contact each other about scheduling that.

I feel like we shouldnt have to replay. seems a little unfair
It'd be unfair to the other schools in your division if Augustana turns out to 3-0 everyone, but you guys get to miss out on getting pwned because you never actually played then. It'd also be unfair to simply give Augustana the auto-lose, because they're doing everyone a favor by switch divisions after a BYE for the first week.
What else is unfair is taking a win away from us.
Power Outage all over again? Sigh... We will play in place of UCR since they are afraid of losing, if we win, we get the win, if we lose, we don't get a loss :) Sounds fair to me.
