All Week 1 Replays can be downloaded from http://www.cstarleague.com/replays/1. Replays are sorted by Matches. Please keep in mind that this pack is not yet complete due to some teams not yet submitting all of their set replays. The pack automatically updates as replays come in.
Also, individual match packs can be downloaded from the Match Draw/Results/Line-up page using the Replays link.
So onto part 2, Feedback! How did this weekend go? Do you have any suggestions on how we could improve the site? Create an account and reply to this post! Let us know what you think and what we could do better.
The matches went well - Darth in particular was awesome in providing quick and timely feedback regarding various issues that popped up. The website makes updating results much easier than last season so great job on that as well!
ya the replay uploading is much much nicer, plus i can force my team to do it for me :P
only hitch is if there is a forfeited match, i took care of it with an email, but maybe add a "no replay - forfeit" option?
the new site is awesome. thanks a ton :)
Last season, we were able to click on the players on the team and check out their records during the CSL. Will you be implementing this feature this season, or will we have to comb through the records of each match?
If a team plays more than three games, and the score went 3:0, yet both teams played and upload the 4th set, how do you make sure that the fourth set doesn't count for the overall standings?
Teams shouldn't upload the 4th set, since it's not official. If we ever see a 4-0, however, we'll correct it ourselves obviously (ie. UCSD this week). We can change all of the match results if need be.
Dunno about the player thing - probably come later.
Phelix they already have that feature... it's under "Standings" each week it will add the current week's stats to the previous week's. At least that's what it looks like to me ;)
for each week, the map pool used should be the CURRENT MOTW on iccup so its easier to get practice on >_>
Like we said before, we chose a map pool mostly based on the current Proleague map pool. Then, we created a map order based on the map pool, so that each map gets played about the same amount.
Even though we use ICCup, we don't base our map pool on them because a) we wouldn't know what the map pool is at all until you guys do, and we prefer making our own map pool for the season. b) we'd basically have no say in the map pool, which I find silly - their MOTWs aren't always the best around. And c) Laddering isn't the only way to practice.
@aikepah, I think Phelix wants to be able to see each individual player's stats easily on their "player page," although those pages don't currently exist (they did in the old site).
ef thats a little hard to coordinate since motw's from iccup arent really predictable for the csl staff.
Sweet, player pages. =D.
Ooh, player pages are *really* nice to have. This is particularly convenient for confirming lineups since before you had to basically go to their team page and match player names with iCCup ID whereas now you just... click!
