Representing the East is the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario. After taking the hint from their school mascot, the Gee Gee (horse racing reference, look it up if you don’t understand), the U of O came out to a solid start, going 4-0. The U of O hit a stumbling block against Tufts in week 5, losing the match 1-3, but rebounded to finish with an overall record of 7-1, with 22 set wins and 12 set losses. They are captained by Logan “Impervious[OU]” Lewis, a Zerg player.
Representing the West is Rice University from Houston Texas. After losing their first match to the University of Tennessee in a very close 3-2 match, they came back and have not lost a match since. They are sporting a 6 win 1 loss match history, with 20 set wins, and 7 set losses. They are captained by Dennis “[Rice]Menace” Qian, a Protoss player.
