THE CSL NETWORK

Group A:
UC Davis
Cal Poly Pomona
Cal State U, Fullerton
San Jose State University

Group B:
UC Berkeley
UC Santa Barbara
University of Southern California
University of Nevada, Reno
Harvey Mudd College

Group C
UC Riverside
UC Irvine
UC San Diego
UC Los Angeles
San Diego State University

The groups were made by ranking all the CSL teams attending by their rank in the regular season. We then filled in the groups from left to right (A - B - C). So in this case, the top 3 schools attending are UC Davis, UC Berkeley, and UC Riverside in that order. The schools ranked 4-6 are CPP, UCSB, and UCI, respectively.

The bottom two ranked schools were pushed over to group B and C.

Format:
Day 1:
3 groups, with top 2 from each group advancing to the Ro8 Bracket.
Rest of the schools go into wild groups, which will allow two more schools to advance to the Ro8 bracket.

Day 2:
Ro8 single elimination bracket.

Depending on the schedule, we may/may not begin the Ro8 on Day1.

Do you guys have recommendations of how to deal with our CSL seasonal matches going on same day? UCSB vs Arizona State, I think i'll just message their coordinator and ask if we can postpone to Monday, cause it seems like this is going to be an intense LAN, or do you think we will have time to fit it in?

Contacting the other coordinator is the best thing to do. I highly recommend you reschedule the match. You can field a different team that day.

At LAN events, things don't always go according to schedule. We may say you have time free at 1pm, but depending how the day goes, it might not be plausible.

Shindigs, since every single team coming is West, doesn't everybody have a match at the same time? Why not just schedule that in...

That sounds like an excellent idea! We'll try to work it into the schedule.

Yikes, looks like Harvey Mudd won't have qxc this weekend, as he's out in Kiev for IEM.
